University Veterinarian and Animal Resources at Virginia Tech

This website serves as the landing resource for all items related to the usage of animals at Virginia Tech. It was rebuilt from the ground up in terms of content and the system running the site. Originally a Drupal subdirectory site built in 2012, the site was transferred to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to leverage the new unviersity templates. The website was designed for two key areas in mind - the acting University Veterinarian and Animal Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with University Veterinarian and Business Manager to develop new content.

  • Serve as point of contact (POC) for content edits.

  • Serve as POC for moving website from Drupal CMS to Adobe Experience Manager.

  • Coordinate with OVPRI graphic designer to update various Word DOC forms, converting to PDF and designing to be more consistent with branding guidlines.

  • Actively track progress via Google Analytics and provide insight and direction based on user data.

  • Assited with taking online webforms hosted in Drupal and converting to Google Forms.
