Who exactly am I?

Bobby Hash

Thank you for taking the time to view my online presence and professional portfolio. I have been blessed to have worked over 15 years in relation to website design and development, starting my first web design company as a high school student in 2001 and taking my talents to my current job.

I currently serve as Webmaster for the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation at Virginia Tech, an office I've been with for almost TWELVE years, an almost unheard of accomplishment for a millennial in this day and age.

Outside of Virginia Tech, I'm a resident of Pulaski, VA. Coming to the New River Valley to attend Radford University, I would have never thought I'd be living here. However, I've found a proper balance in the New River Valley where I can both work and play hard.

My goals for the future are to grow as a media specialist, persue a masters in either cybersecurity, communication, or media creation, and to one day start a family.

I bet you didn't know this about me....

Why work as a Media Specialist AND moonlight as a DJ?

Shelby and Champ

It's very simple - I come from a family of entrepreneurs who have instilled upon me the knowledge I can do whatever I put my mind to and go after whatever makes me happiest. I find myself very fortunate that I enjoy a career during the week with my first passion (web design & development) as well as have the ability to take on a gig playing music on the weekends if I choose to.

An often overlooked trait both careers have in common is that I get to work with people and utilize psychology and human behavior to create experiences.

Aside from code, testing designs on far too many devices, and providing awesome soundtracks to events - I enjoy plenty of time outdoors with my two dogs: Shelby and Champ. I have made the New River Valley my home since 2005 and don't have any plans to change that anytime soon.
